The Jungle Cruise movie is an American adventure project from Walt Disney Pictures. It is a film by Jaume Collet-Serra. The film stars Paul Giamatti, Jesse Plemons, Jack Whitehall. As well as Edgar Ramirez, Emily Blunt, Dwayne Johnson. In 2004, there was a first mention of a project by Mandeville Films. The theme park served as the inspiration for the filming. During 2011, speculation started that Tim Allen and Tom Hanks would star in that film. In the meantime, however, changes followed.
During 2015 Walt Disney Pictures makes a statement to the media. In other words, they are starting a redesign of the film adaptation towards Jungle Cruises. The original screenplay was signed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa. Even though Johnson’s wish was for Patty Jenkins to be the lead director, it didn’t happen. In 2017 it was after all Jaume Collet-Serra.
