Ingredients for michelada (Mexican Cocktail):

360 ml of neutral beer
1 teaspoon of chili powder
1/2 – 1 teaspoon salt
60 ml of lime juice
2 teaspoons of hot sauce (Tabasco, sriracha…)
a few drops of soy sauce
slices of lime


  1. On a shallow plate, mix salt and chili powder. Moisten the edges of the glass with lime slices and roll glasses in that mix with spices.
  2. Pour the lime juice, hot sauce, and soy sauce into a glass and stir gently. Fill a glass with ice and then add beer. Stir gently, garnish with lime and serve.
