Marbella is a beautiful city in the province of Malaga, situated on the ever beautiful Costa del Sol. It is a destination well known for its lively nightlife and for being a favourite destination for many celebrities, both from the rest of Spain and Europe. It is also famous for being a luxury destination, where the most luxurious textile and jewellery brands, among others, congregate.

Zoological parks

Among the theme parks where animals are the protagonists, there are several:

Selwo Marina is located in Benalmádena and you can see all kinds of aquatic animals such as dolphins, sea lions, penguins, etc.

Selwo Aventura, on the other hand, is dedicated to land animals such as camels, zebras, antelopes and more. It is located in Estepona.

Bioparc is a modern zoo located in Fuengirola. Here you will be able to enjoy all kinds of animals, with a very light and pleasant tour, ideal for both parents and children.

Aventura Amazonia

Aventura Amazonia is a park located in Elviria, about five minutes from Marbella. This park offers circuits in the middle of nature such as zip lines, Tibetan bridges and many games suitable for both children and adults.

Water parks

There are two water parks available near Marbella. In Torremolinos you can enjoy Aqualand and in Mijas Costa the Mijas Water Park.

Both parks have everything you should see in a water park, vertiginous slides, wave beach, mats, etc.

The Benalmádena cable car

The Benalmádena cable car is a gondola lift that connects the town of Arroyo de la Miel with the top of Mount Calamorro, in the Sierra de Mijas, at an altitude of over 700 metres, from where you can see Africa on clear days. It is not a theme park as such, but it is certainly an attraction to enjoy with the children, as the views are spectacular and you can enjoy one of the most beautiful landscapes in the area.
